Late last night I got an email, out of the blue, from a lady wanting just one book. She found me through the Usborne website. It's so nice to know that people are out there looking for me!
This is the book she wanted:
- The classic African folktale retold for beginner readers ready to tackle slightly more complicated storylines and sentence structures.
- When the gods create a talking tree, they soon regret it because it won’t be quiet. So they turn it upside down and bury its head in the dirt.
- Part of the Usborne Reading Programme developed with reading experts at the University of Roehampton.
- Includes several pages of reading-related puzzles.
It's only 8 euros - as are all the titles in the Reading Programme. It's a graded programme so your children can graduate through the stages as their reading skills improve.
