I'm very excited about the New Year! I went to the Usborne Gala & Conference in UK last week and I have returned home full of energy & enthusiasm for the future. Usborne is celebrating 30 years in 2011 and I want to be part of those celebrations. By building up my business, selling lots of books and creating & encouraging my own team of organisers, I can win an Access All Areas visit to Usborne head office, an invitation to a fabulous birthday party at the Roman Baths in Bath and a holiday in Italy. By aiming for all this, I will also be building my own career, making money for my family's future and having fun! I am thrilled to have spent time with other Organisers at the Gala & heard all about Usborne's plans for the future at the Conference. As an Organiser based away from the UK, I sometimes feel a little detached so the Gala gives me the opportunity to reconnect with like-minded people. I absorb their enthusiasm and exude my own energy in return. We share ideas and stories of success. We learn about new titles for the future and suggest ideas of our own for possible publication.
