Happy 40th Birthday!

Not me... but Usborne Publishing is celebrating 40 years publishing children's books this year. There are so many ways to celebrate a birthday and Usborne has chosen several!

Last year (2012) Usborne was voted Children's Publisher of the year, a great way to start the birthday celebrations! Organisers have been working hard to earn a seat at a very prestigious dinner table alongside Peter Usborne himself.

Personally, I have grown my Usborne presence online - a Facebook page, a LinkedIn profile and a Pinterest page have all been great fun and a wonderful way to promote what I do - I hope you'll consider having a look!

So, as the snows have finally melted after a very long dark winter, we are looking forward to Summer. My BIG Summer book party is already in the diary and I'm hoping to work with my team (now in Lieto, Espoo, Vantaa and Tampere) to build our little Usborne Empire to bigger and better things!
